FENTY BEAUTY

Fenty Beauty, Rhianna's new makeup line. Haven't heard of it, then where the hell have you been?! it would be right for me not to review and give my opinion on the new brand, especially with all the talk. Is it worth the hype? Let's find out!

Now the reason these products have been so talked about is that Rhianna provided people from all different backgrounds and skin colour with diverse makeup. She related 40 different shades, all with different undertones as well. Unfortunately, there are makeup brands that don't cater to everyone and their shades are much more aimed towards the lighter skin tone. The products are also cruelty-free.

Match Stix Trio - Light 100
Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo - MEAN MNY HUSTL BBY

Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation
COLOUR - I am rubbish at choosing the right foundation shade. So I thought I'd go to the nearest Harvey Nichols and try out the shades. There was one shade that was sold out in-store and online, obviously, this was my shade (according to the make up artist). I bought it as soon as it was restocked. I have the shade 120. Now, personally, I think that it's a little to light for me, so I have to mix it with another foundation. But the undertone works for me. I'd definitely recommend going to check your shade before buying it online.

COVERAGE - Super full coverage, only need about 2 full pumps to cover full face.

FORMULA - It's slightly runnier than some foundations. I think it blends better with a damp beauty blender than a brush but its whatever you prefer.

FINISH - Definitely Matte, I don't think there is any need for powder at all, even if you have oily skin.

WEAR - Its described to be long-lasting, which I totally agree with. With the right primer, it can last all day. The only place I have problems with is my nose. Dry nose and a matte foundation don't work well for me.

RECOMMEND - Absolutely! Unless you don't like matte foundations, that's the only reason I would give someone to not buy it.

Match Stix Trio
COLOUR - The light trio pack is perfect for those with paler skin. At first, I wasn't sure with shades to get individually, so when I saw this I had to get it.

COVERAGE - The concealer and contour sticks are amazing, so easy to blend. I sometimes use the concealer stick on its own when I want something with a  lighter feel on my face but still want decent coverage.

FORMULA - Cream sticks, blends great. The highlighter stick can rub away foundation slightly so I use something to apply it, either my finger, a beauty blender or a brush to dab it on rather than straight from the stick to the skin.

FINISH - Great coverage, dewy finish. You can either apply powder products over the top or just leave them as they are.

WEAR - Last's pretty much up until I wipe it off. I think they're great for all skin types, like I said if you prefer to set them with powders which sometimes I do, they last just a long.

RECOMMEND - 100% It's definitely worth getting the trio and saving a little bit of money unless they're just completely not your shade.

Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo
COLOUR/FINISH - The Mean Money side (left) is a really subtle and has a soft light glow whereas, Hu$tla Baby (right) is more of a champagne/metallic gold-toned. Either use them together or alone.

COVERAGE - They're more of a sheer/subtle coverage compared to some of the others in the collection. You can build them to make them pop that little bit more.

FORMULA - Soft silky pressed powder. Pretty simple.

WEAR - Stay's popping all day long, it's a new favourite of mine.

RECOMMEND - Want something natural and subtle (as natural and subtle as a highlighter can get) then I'd definitely recommend it.

I really hope you enjoyed reading, tried the brand, let me know your thoughts and what your favourite product is.
