REVIEW | NYX VIVID BRIGHTS

Here it is, another NYX review, this time on their Vivid Brights. I thought as it was coming up to summer, I want to try some colourful, bright makeup products. I always see people on Instagram with great colourful eyeliner, and they pull it off so well so, thought these would be perfect to try out.

I went and bought four out of the nine colours they have.

Blossom - light, lilac shade
Sapphire - electric bright blue shade
Petal - baby pink shade
Fire - bright red with a slight pink tone

These are really inexpensive and only cost £5.50 each, and they have a good variety of colours, I love the colours that I bought, they are definitely vibrant and well pigmented. The brush is longer than the bottle that contains the product and has a fine brush on the end, perfect for getting a sharp, precise line. Usually, I tend to use pen eyeliners such as the Soap and Glory Supercat Liner that have a nib on the end rather than a brush.

As for the application, the brush holds a lot of product on the brush so what I tend to do is wipe a slight bit off into the tube and then use that after I have finished what was on the brush, otherwise I get it all over my eyelashes.

The product dries very quick and doesn't smudge at all once dry. One thing I did notice with these eyeliners were that when you go over it more than once, it dries and can go a little flakey.

However, overall I actually like the eyeliners and think for the price you cant go wrong. I would highly recommend you to try these out, they're fun and different and add a little bit of colour, you could also try and find one that really compliments your eye colour.
