MONTHLY FAVOURITES | FEBRUARY

Who else has just blinked and somehow February is over already? However, it means its time for this month's favourites!

BlOGGING PLANNER - I love being organised and I'm a sucker for writing almost everything down. I was in need of a new notebook to keep my notes and blog related things in. I then came across Dot Creates. They have a planner specifically designed for bloggers, it's amazing! It has everything you need to keep on top of your blog posts, events and brands you may be working with. Go check out the website, they have some other cool stuff as well, it's not just for bloggers.

iPhone X - My contract was due to end soon so I'd been looking for a new phone. I found a great, reasonable deal for the iPhone X which is only £10 more a month than I was paying for my iPhone 6s. Would be rude not to right? I'm still trying to get used to a few differences in the layout and the fact it doesn't have a button, but I really like it, I especially love the Animoji, it's hilarious.

L'OREAL PURE CLAY FACE MASKS - I have the Bright, Detox and Glow mask from the collection and I use one once/twice a week. I love them! They make my skin feel super soft and clean after I've used them and they definitely do what they designed for. would I recommend, 100%.

What have you been loving this month?

AMSTERDAM

Towards the end of January, my boyfriend and I visited Amsterdam for a short getaway from work and honestly just to relax. We wanted to go somewhere that wasn't too far to travel to and also wasn't too expensive. We booked it on Lastminute.com for £120 each. That included flights to and from Amsterdam, as well as 3 nights in a hotel. Bargain right?

We flew from Doncaster/Sheffield Airport to Amsterdam and it only took around 50 minutes. The Schiphol airport is HUGE, by far the biggest airport I've been too. It had a bunch of different shops, restaurants, and bars and 100s of terminals. Our hotel was about a 45-minute walk from the center of Amsterdam (that's why it was so cheap) but we didn't mind walking while we were there. I've never done so much walking. We stayed at the Camp-Inn Hotel. The staff there were lovely and it was a nice hotel. I would recommend staying there if you don't mind traveling a little bit to get to the center of Amsterdam.

You're never stuck for anything to do in Amsterdam. All around the center, there are these Tours & Ticket shops where they have a bunch of activities to do while in Amsterdam. From Madame Tussauds to canal boat rides.

While we were there we went to the Anne Frank house which was amazing but emotional. We also checked out the Ice bar which was absolutely freezing. Once we'd left, we felt 10 times warmer outside even in the rain.

Personally, I thought the prices of some things in Amsterdam, whether it be shopping, eating/drinking or activities were up and down. Some places were relatively cheap for the center of Amsterdam and then others were pretty expensive. I did buy myself some clothes while I was there of course.

The food, however, was really nice, one thing that was disappointing was when we went to KFC they told us they don't do gravy, I mean WHAT?!

We'll definitely be going again, try and do a few more things we didn't get to do this time around. Have you ever been to Amsterdam? If so, what did you think? Where else have you been that you'd recommend I visit?

VALENTINES DAY DATE IDEAS

Valentine's day is approaching and for some its a day to spend with their significant other and others to hang out with friends or stay in on your own. I thought I'd give you a few ideas for some dates you can do either with your partner or friends. There's something for everyone, all ages.

MEAL AND DRINKS - Whether you try somewhere new or have a favourite place you always go to, you can't beat going out for some food and maybe a few drinks.

FUN FUN FUN - Do something a little different, go for a game of mini golf or maybe try laser quest. There are all sorts of fun activities you can do, not far from where I live there's this place called Xscape where they have a bunch of stuff even skiing and rock climbing.

CINEMA - A pretty obvious one but why not? See the latest horror or romcom. It's something available to everyone and who doesn't love sitting and doing nothing right?

TRIP - Maybe you want to go out for the day and visit another city or away for a few days anywhere in the world. Spend some quality time with the person or people you love.

NIGHT IN - Sometimes just having a night in can be as good as going out. You don't have to get dressed and you can just eat whatever you want and be lazy, whats better than that?

I hope you all enjoy the day whatever you do!
