MONTHLY FAVOURITES | MARCH

It's the end of the month, so it is time to share with you, my favourite things from the month of March.

IRONFIST (NETFLIX TV SHOW) - Me and Josh (my boyfriend) were instantly hooked on the new season on Netflix. It links along with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Daredevil, all soon to appear in one show called the defenders, super excited for that.

HUDA BEAUTY PALETTE - What's not to love? Great colours, excellent pigment, it's just so pretty and is definitely a favourite of mine this month.

SKINNY DIP PHONE CASE/MAKEUP BAG - Matching peachy phone case and makeup bag, who wouldn't love that, they're super cute!

GLITTER BOX CHOKER - Lovely thick diamanté choker, ideal for adding detail to an outfit. You can also get 25% off all site using promo code alishaxoxo

STORMZY - Yes that's right, Stormzy. I love his song 'Big for your Boots' and all the remix songs like Ed Sheeran's song 'Shape Of You' and Jon Bellion's 'All Time Low.'

Liverpool - Weekend Away

This weekend myself and my boyfriend went to Liverpool to see the Liverpool vs Real Madrid Legends game at Anfield. It was his late birthday present from me. We went up on Friday and spent the day shopping, eating and went to see the new Power Rangers movie.

On Saturday we had a Mcdonald's breakfast in the hotel while getting ready, packed all of our things away and went to the nearest weather spoons for a few drinks before walking all the way to the stadium.

We got excellent seats for the game, second row from the front. We got to see Steven Gerrard up close, my boyfriend fancies him like mad, so I was the best girlfriend ever at this point. Later after the game, we walked back into the center and went for some food, had another look around the shops and headed back to the station to pick up our luggage and wait for our train.

Here are a couple of photos from while we were at the game.

REVIEW | HUDA BEAUTY Textured Shadows Palette

This post is super exciting. I'm sure you have all heard of Huda Beauty, she is a beauty blogger and Youtuber who has launched her own brand of makeup products from lipsticks to eyelashes. You can get her products on the Huda Beauty site, or some of her products are also on other mixed branded makeup sites such as Cult Beauty and Sephora.

As a late birthday present from my boyfriend, he got me the textured shadows palette rose gold edition. The reason it was late is that it is impossible to get a hold of, it literally sells out so quick and then you have to wait for ages for it to come back in stock. Obviously is must be an amazing palette if it sell's out so fast.

For £56 I had high hopes for this palette and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. I love it! The packaging is cool, and you can see the colours through the transparent cover, it makes a beautiful decoration for my desk.

The colours are gorgeous, some natural shades for every day and then it has your glitter pigmented shadows. The colour payoff is so good, and it is very pigmented, it's so easy to blend, some eyeshadows you have to build a bit at a time so you get the colour and it blends better. With this, you don't need to build very much at all. I didn't have much of a problem with fall out from the matte shadows but the metallic/glitter shades, however, do tend to have a bit of fall out. I also found that the glitter's applied better with my fingers than a brush.

I would 100% recommend this palette to everyone. High pigment, gorgeous colours, strong and cool packaging.
