MONTHLY FAVOURITES | FEBRUARY

It's the end of the month, so it is time to share with you, my favourite things from the month of February.


VICTORIA SECRET MISTS - There are so many scents to choose from and usually have offers on them. They are great to throw in your bag, long-lasting smell and the product itself, takes be forever to get through them as they are pretty big bottles.

MINT CARMEX LIP BALM - I love this lip balm, it's so hydrating, and the scent is delicious, it has to be in the tube though, not a tin because I hate getting my fingers all greasy.

NEWCASTLE - Me and my boyfriend went to Newcastle for the weekend at the beginning of the month for a little double birthday celebration. It was great fun and nice to spend time together just the two of us.

TOPSHOP SLIP ON SHOES - I have the plain black suede and the grey anaconda suede pair and they so easy to put on, go with everything, easy to clean. They also have them in a baby pink which I am also going to be purchasing.

GOSFORD FLAP SUEDE CROSSBODY BAG

Last weekend I went to Newcastle overnight with my boyfriend for a little getaway. I loved it, the city is so beautiful, and it has a great layout as to where all the shops and restaurants are, everything was pretty much in walking distance from where we were staying. Not to mention the Geordie accent is one of my faves!

Obviously, you can't go away for the weekend without going shopping, duh. I bought this lovely small crossbody, suede bag from Jack Wills. I needed something smaller than my other bags because there's nothing worse than taking a bigger bag than necessary and it has like two items in it. It's small and practical, so it was perfect, it also went with a pair of brown suede knee-high boots I own which were a plus. It retails for £49.95, but there was 25% off for students when I bought it so another plus. They also have the bag in a pale pink shade which just as nice, but I don't have many things that it would go with.

REVIEW | NYX CUSTOM PALETTE

As some of you may know NYX has recently come into UK stores such as Boots and Selfridges I believe, you can also buy them online from many sites such as Cult Beauty, Feel Unique, Boots and many others. I have been waiting to buy some of their products for ages but could only ever find them on American sites, and they charged international shipping fees.

I have heard many great things about NYX Cosmetics so thought I would give it ago. This post is about their custom palettes. They come with two size options, a 4 slot empty palette at £3.50 and a 9 slot empty palette for £4.50. You then have the choice of 88 different colour shadows, priced at £2.50 each, that you can put in the palettes and create your very own customised eyeshadow palette.

I bought both size palettes and then picked what colours I wanted. Stupidly I was one short and only picked up 12 and not 13 so I am yet to finish it. They come in a small packet, and you just remove the packaging and place them in whatever order you want. Maybe you want a warm toned palette or bright, bold palette or just a bit of everything then this is perfect.

The colour pigment is amazing, easy to blend and definitely worth every penny. You can get matte shades and some with shimmer, 10/10 from me; I will be purchasing more products from NYX cosmetics and looking forward to trying them.
